I was employed as their only roof plumber estimating and quoting Wollongong City Council works and private jobs that came through. When quotes were accepted by clients I would coordinate, order materials and direct staff on completion of the work. This work was done within the Wollongong district.

During this time, I was subcontracting roofs, this included residential and commercial to multiple roofing companies in Canberra/Queanbeyan. During this time, I learnt the essentials of purchasing pricing of contract works.

At this time, I was a third year going into my fourth-year apprenticeship. Same as above all facets of roofing. During this employment the manager injured himself and was not available to work for 4 months. This was left to me to coordinate staff, complete jobs from start to finish and run the business smoothly.

This is where I started my roofing apprenticeship. The Tafe I attended was CIT in Fyshwick ACT. For this time, I learnt the foundations of roofing.
