- Working away from home for either 4-5 nights a week & home the remaining days off
- Was offered a Leading Hand position 6-7months into the job I pushed my self to strive to learn & improve anyway I can
- Took on the role although I was thrown in the deep end knowing an average amount about Safety Barriers, How they are installed, the specifications with heights, concrete strengths, etc
- Took the full pressure of running a crew on adults under my wing, training & motivating them to strive for more, to beat targets & continually set new ones, to always start & finish the jobs required at a high standard, to be extra careful in our work zones depending on the job location (Working next to live traffic, either suburban roads or Free/Highways), was 5 days a week, consistently 40+ hours involved
- Involved Working away from home, (Leaving Monday early hours, usually left where we would arrive to site on time Monday 7am, so we left at various hours depending on the jobs location) Starting Monday, we would stay away, working through the week, then at a caravan park usually over night, back to work
- Fridays we would leave around lunch to get home at a decent hour to have the 1 or 2 day weekend usually left
- Areas involved: Bordertown, S.A, Geelong, Horsham, Lethbridge, Bacchus Marsh, Colac
- Worked for employer for 2yrs, roughly
