During these two years here i have done a lot of wiring with flexible cable ranging from sizes of 0.5mm to 120mm flexible cable.
I have also done a lot of copper busbar work. Which includes measuring, cutting, sanding punching and drilling holes. As well as connecting busbar with bolts to the correct torque spec.
I have worked on Main Switchboards, Meter Panels, Distribution Boards, Battery Boxes, Fuse Switches and Motor Safety Stations.
I have had a lot of experience with metal fixing such as drilling, tapping, sheet metal work, which includes using a guillotine and folder.
I have wired cable in to many different types of terminals, contacts, circuit breakers, switches, push buttons, lights, emergency lighting circuits.
I have worked on Drives. This includes testing and troubleshooting with a Tradesperson. I have done site work at places like Fonterra with drives and switchboards. As well as private pump stations.
I have done testing such as RCD trip test, voltage, continuity, polarity, insulation and phase rotation.
I have been learning to interpret wiring diagrams which have been complex. These diagrams have been for Switchboards Mainly.
