Such roles performed Registration crew, BA (Breathing Apparatus) crew, Stairwell crew, Runner/floater, ushers/crowd control crew:

  • Set-up of the registration area prior to the event commencing, Mark off names on role call sheets as climbers check-in. Hand out race day packs containing climbers bibs and shirt as they check-in.
  • Pack up the registration area at the conclusion of the event.
  • Provide information to climbers and any climb crew members needing assistance. Also giving directions to spectators and family if they require this.
  • Respond to any requests for assistance via the radio provided.
  • Respond to and report major medical emergencies to onsite emergency medical responders.
  • At the conclusion of the event do a quick tidy up of the stairwell, pick-up any general rubbish and dispose of in bins.

• Delivering supplies such as water bottles to stairwell crew when required.

• Assist and organise queues of climbers in the registration area. • Call out climbers squad numbers in the Crown Conference Centre. A squad will consist of 25 climbers. At the commencement of the event Squad 1 will line up ready to be taken to the BA service area to collect their BA.

• Lead the squads of climbers along the designated route from the conference centre to the BA service area to start their climb

• Direct climbers back to conference centre to collect their gear after their climb.
