• Oversight of the financial reporting function for the Australian business including accountability to the Australian executive, the Canadian Parent office and management of external and internal auditors and other stakeholders.

• Role incorporated oversight of financial model development for all project bids including tariff design and risk mitigation components.

• Responsible for proving finance, commercial and evaluation advice to Managing Director.

• Responsible for commercial and finance oversight for Karratha Power Station as facility moved from construction to operation phase. The role included establishing commercial operating relationship with Horizon Power.

• Oversight of finance team responsible for all financial and commercial aspects of three large power stations operating in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada.
• Role included management of relationships with joint venture partners and off-takers including Shell Canada.

• Responsible for finance function for two joint venture power stations with Origin Energy and one corporate entity containing management staff. Role included accounting, financing, tax, payroll functions and management of internal and external stakeholders.

Various project roles including:

• Working directly with Native Title claimant groups to advance their claims through mediation and court processes under Native Title Act.
• Last 18 months as Senior Finance Officer with oversight of finance function for Land Council.

• Broad exposure across audit, tax, business advisory and quality assurance for diverse client base accountancy firm.
