• Hunters Estate Agents is one of the leading Estate Agents across the UK and working for them across a 4 year span allowed me to develop a variety of skills, become a qualified Residential Lettings Negotiator and gain experience which I feel is vital for working in a demanding industry.
• My job role consisted of;

- Booking and carrying our property viewings

- Dealing with enquiries

- Negotiating both lets and sales, with landlords/vendors as well as tenants/buyers

- Drawing up tenancy/contract agreements

- Referencing clients, anti money laundering checks and sending subject to contract documents

- Producing and sending memorandum of sales

- Resolving problems with mortgage brokers and solicitors

- Dealing with large sums of money

- Managing people's expectations and informing them of bad news (which was very common in such a competitive market place)

- Training a less experienced team member before my move to Australia

• Being very experienced in the UK Real Estate Industry is great however I am looking to transfer the skills I have learnt to a location I am more passionate about.

• During my time at Ellenborough Park I was mainly working as a bartender, for the hotel main restaurant but also for events, weddings, work parties and conferences.
• Being a high end hotel I learnt how to deal with customers in a professional manner, attention to detail and how to deal with unique requests. Working here also gave me a much better understanding of wine, liquors and what to pair certain spirits with.
• The cocktail/drinks menu was advanced and even though each drink had a recipe to follow, you were expected to memorise them after a couple of orders. This was something I picked up quickly and with a quick refresh, something that I could replicate at another bar.
• Setting up the venue prior to guests arriving was another key role when working at Ellenborough Park. This consisted of anything from moving table/chairs into place to polishing glasses for their champagne arrival.

• This was essentially my first full time job after finishing school, being young and versatile with hours I covered many different roles from waiting tables to setting up a conference rooms for events.
• Being mainly based in the C&B department I worked lots of weddings, conference meetings, birthday/work parties and funeral wakes.
• The main roles were; Serving food/drinks, setting up meeting rooms, moving tables/chairs to meet customers needs and working late nights, after events had finished.
• As the hotel is part of the Hilton Chain, the standard was also very high and attention to detail was vital.
