Summary

A Director at Dangar Barin Smith with extensive experience designing a range of commercial and residential projects. Passion for Landscape architecture and its role in creating vibrant urban spaces that successfully integrate elements of nature into our contemporary urban settings.

Graduating from University of NSW as a Landscape Architect in 2013, and with my background in landscape construction I worked on a number of large-scale projects at Turf Design Studio. Since then, I've worked alongside William Dangar and in 2018 made the transition to Director of the company, which is now called Dangar Barin Smith. We specialise in working with Australia's leading architects, interior designers and builders in creative collaborations for residential and commercial landscape designs. Personally I also undertake freelance work and joint venture projects with Tanya Wood who as AILA President and has assisted in my development over the past 5 years.

  • CLEVELAND ROOFTOP (SJB Architects) Completed 2016/17. This biophilic design approach in its unexpected urban setting has caught the attention of design industries worldwide. Claiming awards for use of colour, sustainability and residential design from esteemed bodies such as Dulux Colour Awards, IDEA Awards, Architizer A+ Awards and INSIDE World Festival, Cleveland Rooftop has achieved an exceptional level of recognition.   • Assist in landscape construction of; levels/ grading, drainage, irrigation systems, timber retaining walls, paving, fencing, planting and application of turf.

  • Assisted in development of scope of works and time scheduling
