  • Devised and launched digital-only Prime Minister's Spelling Bee backed by Scott Morrison and then Anthony Albanese with 70,000 students taking part.

Also worked closely with the Editorial Partnerships team to maintain relationships, deliver event-specific content and assist in bringing in new relevant financial and editorial partnerships.

  • Collaborating to launch the Delicious 100 in Victoria, a comprehensive review of the top 100 restaurants in glossy magazine and digital executions including reader rankings.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Led the editorial team through the difficult reporting of 2008's Black Saturday bushfires both on the ground reporting live during the inferno and in the aftermath as they reported on the trauma and tragedies within their readership areas. Worked closely with HR to ensure the wellbeing of all staff involved.
  • Devised and published a limited edition Black Saturday liftout with all funds raised ($250,000) going to Victorian firefighters.
  • Devised, created and launched the Feed Melbourne Appeal (which later became the national Feed Appeal) with charity FareShare to raise money for Victorian food relief agencies to feed those in need. Inaugural year raised $250,000. Over its lifetime, it raised more than $10 million.
