Customer Support Consultant (Substantive Position)

  • My role as Restriction Officer/Customer Support is to engage with owners and tenants who have not responded to written registered correspondence, phone calls, emails, and test messages and to implement the three-week process of Final Demand and Restriction
  • My role as Customer Support Officer is to engage face to face with the above customers and try and reach resolution before Final Demand Process commenced - since Pandemic restrictions have ceased.
  • Working closely our most vulnerable customers offering grants and suitable payment arrangements prior to final demand process
  • Completing leak rebates, Utility grants, Community Rebate grants, Hardship applications and working with operation staff and plumbers to complete works at customers properties on a needs' basis – this work entails raising purchase orders in Tech 1 and receipting goods on invoice along with all other administrative daily tasks – updating registers and reporting to Essential Services Commission.
  • Liaising with Department of Families Fairness and Housing to assist customers with leak repairs.
  • Liaising with Financial Counsellors with vulnerable customers setting up affordable payment arrangements and applying for Utility Relief Grants
  • Completing monthly statistics for reporting purposes to Essential Services Commission
  • Working with Plumbers and Operations staff to assist with leaks at residential properties and creating works orders, purchase orders and receipting of goods on completion of work processing through Tech 1.
