107 Projects is a charity focused on cultural creative communities operating out of Redfern and Green Square. I had the opportunity to use my skills in Operations to help manage events and programs for the Redfern space throughout the greater half of 2023.

High school mentoring

2016 - 2017

I have done weekly mentoring for kids in year 7 to talk to them about their hobbies and concerns to ease them into high school.

  • Build relationships with some mentees during lunch breaks


Youth group leader

2014 - 2015

As a youth group leader I created fun activities to do before youth group start as well as help with leading worship.

Scratch Programming collaborations

2013

I collaborated with others as well as held programming competitions on the Scratch website. Scratch is an open-source visual based programming language targeting kids and teens.

  • Fixed bugs on other peoples programs and update change logs
  • Collaborated with another peer to develop our own game

Hobbies and interests

Music: Bass guitar has been really important in my life playing for my church youth group. I play regularly for my own enjoyment and also transcribe songs that I like.


Gaming: I have programmed and created games on Scratch, and I have an interest in game development and design.


Tech: I’ve performed custom ROM installing operating systems and root access enabling android smartphones. In general I like tinkering with consumer electronics and computers.


Dance: Shuffle dancing has been one of the newer hobbies for me, and it's been a great way to motivate me to chase for more and improve as well as meet new people.
