  • I have worked as a mental health nurse at Eastern health since 2015, after completing the blended mental health stream graduate nurse program during which, I worked on ward 2 North in Maroondah hospital.
  • I worked mainly in the acute adult inpatient unit (IPU2) for 6 years then I move on to PAPU in 2021.
  • One of my roles in PAPU is to provide urgent mental health assessments and referrals via the overnight phone triage services that Eastern Health offers to those in the eastern district of Melbourne.
  • Over the years, I have built up a lot of experience in managing psychiatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • I completed a graduate diploma in mental health nursing with RMIT in 2019.
  • Participated in parent groups and one-on-one sessions using evidence-based modalities such as the Circle of Security and infant health strategies
  • collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and community agencies to develop comprehensive care plans
