Summary

I am a competent clinician with a strong focus on providing compassionate, patient and family centred care. Throughout my nursing career I have actively sought out professional development opportunities to improve my skills in areas such as communication, clinical governance, leadership and management as well as clinical skills.

My multiple leadership and management roles have enabled me to hone my organisational and financial management skills. While my time working as a Remote Area Nurse allowed me to develop strong communication and problem solving skills.

While I am adept at working independently, I am passionate about teamwork and fostering a positive workplace culture. I particularly enjoy working with students and new to role nurses to empower them to make informed decisions and foster their professional growth.
