DeVinci Junior is a Junior Enterprise, a student-led consulting firm offering professional services while allowing students to gain hands-on business experience. What sets DeVinci Junior apart is its multidisciplinary approach, combining talents from business, engineering, and digital fields.

As a consultant, I worked on diverse projects for clients, including market studies, sales analysis, and survey design. This experience gave me insights into project coordination, data analysis, and client interaction. It also expanded my knowledge across engineering and digital sectors, reinforcing my business learnings.

In my role as a Business Development Manager, I was responsible for creating and optimizing commercial tools, enhancing the sales process, and developing comprehensive business strategies. I conducted market studies in various sectors to inform strategic planning and implemented commercial processes that aligned with the company’s growth objectives. My role included managing and training a team of 10 business associates, which contributed to a significant turnover of €90,000.

I also handled incoming calls and tender applications, providing high-quality support to clients and potential partners. Additionally, I designed internal tools to improve team performance and tracking capabilities, ensuring a more robust and efficient sales process. These initiatives allowed us to monitor progress closely and adapt our approach based on real-time data, ultimately boosting our effectiveness in meeting sales targets.

As a Sales Intern at Mercedes-Benz, I was actively involved in B2C sales and B2B prospecting, taking on responsibilities well beyond typical internship tasks. I handled direct sales, successfully selling two vehicles within my first two weeks. My role also included identifying potential B2B clients and nurturing those relationships. I represented Mercedes-Benz independently at professional events and regional networking gatherings, where I showcased new models and engaged with prospective clients to boost brand visibility. This experience honed my sales and presentation skills, built my confidence in client interactions, and gave me valuable insight into the automotive industry.

Ranked as the 3rd best post-bac business school in France, is known for its interdisciplinary approach, blending business, digital, and engineering disciplines. As part of the Grande École Program, I worked alongside engineering and digital students from other schools in the Léonard de Vinci cluster, participating in Design Thinking hackathons and tackling real-world business challenges. These experiences developed my skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and project management, with a strong focus on innovative processes.

The University of Newcastle, ranked among the top 201-250 universities worldwide, provided a rich academic and social experience. My coursework included:

• Data Visualization for Decision Makers: Learned R programming and RStudio for data visualization, applying these skills to support business decision-making.
• Strategic Business Management and Business Growth Strategy: Gained insights into sales, growth strategies, and performance control, reinforcing my expertise in business development.
• Decision Making Under Uncertainty: Developed techniques for risk analysis and decision-making in uncertain environments, essential for adapting strategies to market changes.

Living on campus at UoN offered an immersive cultural experience, where I connected with students from diverse backgrounds, enhancing my global perspective and adaptability. The vibrant campus life, combined with Newcastle’s focus on hands-on, impactful learning, equipped me to navigate dynamic and multicultural environments, furthering my personal and professional growth.

Studied Economics and Social Sciences (SES) and Contemporary English Studies, where I built a solid foundation in economic analysis and global perspectives. In my first year, I took Digital and Computer Science (NSI), learning essential programming basics. I also achieved a Cambridge English certification, reaching a B2 overall level with a C1 in speaking, enhancing my ability to communicate effectively in international contexts.
