Tristan Meffre

Worked as a freelance saxophonist in various bands and ensembles. This includes performances at clubs and bars in both Hobart and Melbourne including Bar 303 and the JazzLab, and at festivals and events such as the Melbourne International Jazz festival, Strawberry Fields festival, MONA FOMA, Dark MOFO, and PANAMA.

Taught individual and small group lessons to high school music students (years 7-12) on saxophone, clarinet and flute. Position also included co-leading after school ensembles.

Employed as a kitchen hand and waiter at The Horn African Café and Music Lounge. This position included dishwashing, food preparation, waiting, and customer service

Casual retail assistant at a second-hand outdoor shop. Role included in-shop customer service responsibilities as well as cleaning, maintenance and repair work.
