- Trenching around low-voltage (LV) services with a spotter.

- Backfilling and compacting with a pinwheel, and other compaction equipment.

- Marking up and boxing out signs with the help of a laser level to get the correct height, or within a 10 mm tolerance.

- Interpreting plans for pit and pipe location, and marking them up.

- Use of an auger on an excavator for windsocks.

- Self-loading trucks with skid steers, loaders, and/or

excavators, and tipping in the desired location.

- Installation of D25 pits includes boxing out, putting stone in, and leveling the stone with a level.

- Clean up the work area with a skid steer, using a 4 and 1 bucket with a spreader bar.

- Spotting machinery.

- Backfill duties, compacting of trenches, and running correct danger tapes over services.

- Spotting excavators around live services.

- Use of a laser level.

- Installation of pits and pipes.

- Clean-up duties.

- Greasing, refueling, and pre-starts of machinery.

- Mixed mortar and concrete using hand tools or mechanical mixers.

- Use of hand and power tools.

- Built and repaired walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures.

- Set up of scaffolding.

Laying bricks to a string line that has been gauged and marked from profiles.

- Set up and level the profiles on the corners of the slabs.
