Agricultural Mechanical

• Consultation between Farmers and Dealership and Manufacturer to develop fleet management strategies including programmed maintenance and unplanned maintenance to reduce downtime and optimise productivity.
• Prioritise works and engage contractors working with multiple farmers to deliver solutions, being sympathetic to farmers varying budgets and time frames.
• Oversee quality of work of contracted and employed staff and confirm parts orders are accurate.
• Manage cash flow, capital expenditure and payroll in conjunction with Administration staff, book keepers and accountants.
• Develop Safe work method statements and job safety analysis with risk rating calculator
• Provide Diagnostic support to farmers, collaborating with other technicians, OEM engineers and factory trainers.
• Provide training to on farm mechanics and operators
• Provide diverse range of Mechanical services including but not limited auto electrical, coding, Air-conditioning, GPS, Automation, driveline, engine, hydraulics, metal fabrication.
• Provide parts interpretation and use OEM parts books to order parts.
• Develop technical reports for engineers and factory
• Produce Warranty claims
• Provide detailed reports for farmers

Training and Assessement

• Work with Training Coordinators, Registered training organisations, Clients, Departments to develop training plans and practices in accordance to National and State standards
• Manage AVETMIS requirements

Transport Services

• Provide Professional haulage using Side tippers, Bulk grain haulage, gravel end tippers, Moore 48ft super-tilt tray, general freight.

• Operate Farm machinery to a professional standard including Offset Disc's, Go-devil, Scarifying, slashing, mulching, fertilising, spraying, laser levelling, tumbles, land-plane, headers.
• Operate Ancillary equipment, 4wd, trucks, compressors irrigation pumps.
• Order water in accordance with watering plans.
• Prepare for watering in accordance with schedules, heights of paddocks and drainage requirements.
• Conduct and monitor syphon irrigation systems.
• Work with operations manager and farm manager to develop better strategy's to gain higher and more even yields across the paddocks.
• Replaced damaged, missing, or defective parts with new and refurbished components.
• Kept equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining supplies.
• Disassembled defective parts to make proper repairs.
• Inspected and tested equipment to locate worn and damaged parts.
• Inspected and tested vehicles and completed preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacement.

Emergency Response Team

• Conduct operations within high risk, time sensitive situations.
• Manage fire risk including fuel reduction tasks.
• Respond to Emergency's, accidents and incidents.
• Respond to medical emergency's
• Work alongside the nursing staff in trauma and medical episodes
• Provide first aid
• Use vertical rescue techniques in emergency scenario's.

Bore Operator

(Full time 2 years, part time 2 years)

• Manage stock water for 65,000 head of cattle across 1 million acre property
• Manage daily repairs of Vehicles, pumps, and engines
• Monitor water via Aeroplane and develop plans in conjunction with Station Manager to make repairs.
• Monitor and repair property assets, Cattle yard, Fences, troughs.
• Fire Risk management including fuel reduction burns
• Respond to bush fire emergency's including Co-ordination of staff and assets in order to bring brushfires undercontroll
• Practice world class animal husbandry techniques and low stress stock handling.
• Operate Tractors, Graders, Trucks

• Handled tenant complaints promptly and appropriately, calling in repairmen, and other support services.
