Enrolled Nurse seeking to transition into a Registered Nurse role, offering a strong foundation in collaborative teamwork within multidisciplinary settings. Demonstrates adaptability in dynamic environments and communicates effectively with patients and colleagues. Committed to fostering empathy and employing problem-solving skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Dependable, professional and dedicated to delivering high-quality care and nurturing a positive, supportive work environment.
My role at Brisbane Private Hospital (BPH) commenced as a Graduate Enrolled Nurse, where I completed two 6-month rotations — the first in the Rehabilitation Ward and the second in the Neurosurgical Ward where I continued working. During this time, I developed foundational clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, observations, and patient education. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, I gained experience in delivering patient-centred care, supporting patients through pre and post-operative care, and responding effectively to changes in clinical condition. This role has strengthened my clinical confidence, communication, and ability to work in fast-paced acute care environments.
My role as an Assistant in Nursing involved working in the aged care sector, supporting residents with activities of daily living while maintaining their comfort, dignity, and adhering to strict infection control protocols. This role allowed me to develop effective and compassionate communication skills, adopt a team-focused approach, and enhance my ability to deliver person-centred care. Working through an agency also required adaptability and resilience, as I regularly integrated into diverse teams and environments to consistently provide high-quality care.
My role as an Compliance Administration Officer at Chevron involved ensuring national driver compliance for Dangerous Goods drivers was consistently maintained. Working closely with the National Training and Compliance Manager, I coordinated and managed national driver training schedules and maintained accurate compliance records. This position demanded strong attention to detail, accurate data entry skills, the ability to identify and resolve errors or anomalies, as well as effective time management and organisational capabilities.
