Summary

I possess a rich and diverse background in the education sector, encompassing 16 years of professional teaching experience in primary schools and early childhood education. My journey as an early childhood educator and subsequently as a lead educator in the preschool room began at Guardian Childcare and Education, Sydney, spanning from 2016 to 2019. Following the completion of my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and care, I assumed the role of an early childhood teacher and educational leader at YWCA Conder Early Childhood Service, Canberra, contributing my expertise for a year and six months. My journey continued to evolve as I joined Isaacs Goodstart Early Learning Service in January 2022, embracing the position of a teacher-educational leader. My cumulative 16-year engagement in the education sector is a testament to my commitment and passion for fostering optimal learning environments. Throughout my career, I have accumulated a decade of valuable teaching experience in primary schools, complemented by six years of dedicated mentorship and teaching engagements in Bhutan. Over the course of seven years, I have also contributed significantly to the childcare sector, further enhancing my understanding of early childhood development. My role as an educational leader in early years for two and a half years has fortified my leadership capabilities, allowing me to instigate continuous enhancements in programming practices. The amalgamation of my teaching qualifications and extensive interactions with children and fellow educators, both within primary schools and the early childhood sector, has honed my leadership acumen. This proficiency enables me to champion ongoing improvements in curriculum design and execution. Moreover, it empowers me to provide robust mentorship, nurturing an interconnected network of relationships with children, families, and educators and early childhood stakeholders.
