I am presently working in the hospital environment as a patient services assistant where I have an insight into various aspects of nursing. Whilst this hospital is predominantly for rehabilitation, I have also worked on surgical, maternity wards, mental health wards, short say unit, radiology and as a patient services assistant. In this role I have had an interaction with patients, nurses, and other support staff. I have found my role to be most Interesting and fun. Having now worked for three years in total at two hospitals this will stand me in good stead if I were given the opportunity to pursue career in nursing.
