Sole trader under ABN AmpTech Maintenance as an auto electrician. Job is focused on earth moving, forestry, civil machines and prime movers. Also fitting wiring harnesses, parts and accessories to a range of different trailers, machines and light vehicles.

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to OEM standards and doing so in a neat and time efficient manner.

Surface and underground auto electrician for a large fleet of Sandvik TH663i trucks, Caterpillar R2900 loaders, Volvo ITs, Normet charmec, and surface Volvo loaders and excavators.

Job included:

-Surface and underground planned maintenance servicing and repairs.

-Diagnosing and repair on our LHD fleet to OEM standards.

-Reading and understanding wiring and hydaulic diagrams and schematics.

-Working as a team and working solo to maintain and repair fleet.

-Shared role of underground breakdown fitter.

-Work with Cat R2900G loaders fitted with RCT remote controls for open stope bogging.

-LV tray fitouts for minespec lighting.

Knowledge and experience working with electric over hydraulic systems.

Ability to operate most machines to diagnose/service or move locations when necessary.

Work alongside Diesel Mechanics/Fitters to maintain a reliable mobile fleet.

Various roles as an underground employee at Eloise Copper Mine.

Started my mining career as a drillers offsider and progressed through different roles and responsibilities. These included underground truck driver, service crew member, minor charge work and various other odd jobs needing assistance or completing. This allowed me to gain certificates and tickets for a variety of jobs and gave me the knowledge of how different vehicles and structures of an underground mine operates.

Started and finished my auto electrical trade working with earth moving, civil, quarry, road transport or public work.
