Tyron Heal, 222 Nicolson Avenue, Whyalla, South Australia, 5608, Tyron.james.heal2008@gmail.com, 0480 130 432, Steve White General Builders, 02/07/24, Dear Steve White, Founder of Steve White General Builders, I have completed work experience for Steve White, and I have been informed that Steve white general builders taking on new apprentices. I am now interested in applying for a carpentry apprenticeship. My name is Tyron, and I am year 11 student at Samaritan College, I am interested in applying for this job because it links to my future career pathway in carpentry. I want to gain this experience because it will help with becoming a qualified carpenter and build good connections with customers, work colleagues and anyone else I work with. I have one year experience in retail, which was important to improving my interacting with people and improving customer service skills. I am currently working at a fast-food restaurant which has helped improve how I work under pressure, and I can keep working at a standard even while in a stressful situation. I have also done work experience for Steve White and currently doing a school program, Doorways to construction. Which is a program with Tafe with a group of selected people to work on a house through out the year, completed tasks such as wall framing, demolition, and renovations. This is great for us to learn new skills or build on skills we already have. I have always had a passion for building and after doing work experience for different careers I have found a liking for carpentry and would like to start my career with Steve White General Builders. I want to learn how to build structures such as houses, house extensions, pergolas/patio areas and sheds, because I want to be able to do DIY home projects. I have already learned the basics of tools and I have Discuss what you want to learn and gain from their business. What knowledge do you have already from work experience? I believe I am good for this apprenticeship because I have of experience with tools and , I have a little idea of what I would do as a carpenter since I did work experience for Steve white and I also have a good work ethic and eager to start in the building industry. Yours truly, Tyron Heal
