- Safety - Following company policies and procedures to mine in a safe and efficient manner. Conducting pre start and post shift checks on all machines, reporting any defects and tagging out a machine that is not safe to operate. Using take 5's before starting a new job. Reporting hazards to the supervisor and rectifying the hazard if possible. Read, sign onto and follow any JHA's that are required for the work area.
- Excavators - Komatsu PC1250, Hitachi EX1200, EX1900, EX2600, EX3600. Production loading cat 777 and 789 trucks in ore blocks and waste using standard bench, double benching and top loading methods. Pulling batters, digging drop cuts and sumps all to correct grade or RL as per pit design. Using ore dig maps and engineering pit designs on wenco GPS when available.
- Dozer - Caterpillar D10T. Scrub clearing new mine sites, stripping top soil on new mine sites, pushing batters on completed waste dumps, dig floor clean ups, drop cuts to grade, pushing up batter trimmings, preparing drill floors, topping off blasted heaves, building ramps for truck and LV access, building windrows, building new haul roads, sheeting existing haul roads, pushing off tip heads, topping off paddock dumped stockpiles. Using laser level and staff to check levels, and using wenco GPS when available for pit, haul roads, waste dump and ore map designs.
- Grader - Caterpillar 16M. Maintaining haul roads and LV access tracks, grading pit floors and tip heads, building new roads, sheeting existing roads, grading mud off haul roads after a rain event to get trucks back running safely and efficiently.
- Water Cart - Caterpillar 775. Watering haul roads and ramps as per company procedures, hydro scaling high walls in preparation for drill floors, watering down dusty shots.
- Trucks - Caterpillar 777 and 789. Hauling rock and oxide material from the pit to waste dump and ROM ore stockpiles, re locating top soil piles, working with the dozer operator to build new roads and sheet existing roads.
