Laboured in a company that washes and restores heavy machinery

Briefly worked for a flooring subcontractor, assisted in floor removals and laying new floors.

Duties included:

using concrete for self leveling

cutting carpet and vinyl to correct sizes

using glue and flooring specific tools to lay carpet or vinyl

Transported and demolished the inside components of three staffrooms, removed old carpets and prepared it for the painters.

Once painting was completed I assisted in laying down new floors (either carpet or vinyl). lastly i unloaded all the furniture ordered from the delivery truck and assembled all of the staffrooms new furniture and restored staffrooms to similiar layouts and arrangements

Fresh produce team member. This job served as a casual role whilst i was in school and a secondary job to some of the other roles mentioned.

Duties included:

Stacking and replenishing shelves

tidying produce area

rapping pallets and moving them

wasting out of date items

Worked on a Turf farm for two months as a farm hand, with my primary role being a turf harvester (stacker).

my duties included:

driving tractors and turf harvesters

setting up walking irrigator systems

stacking turf onto pallets

using pesticide to eradicate weeds and invasive plants

Labourer for an event hire company who specialised in setting up the infrastructure for events like the Brisbane truck show and Magic Millions at the Gold Coast Racecourse etc.

my duties included:

loading and driving trucks

using impact drivers and various power tools to join steel components

Moving components of weights up to 60kg

building large temporary buildings (marquise) with dimensions such as 50x25 metres etc.
