- Waitress Responsibilities :
- Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages.
- Greet and escort customers to their tables
Present menu and provide detailed informations. - Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
- Served patrons with water, coffee, and condiments.
- Maked coffee and tea.
- Cleaned and polished furniture, shelves, walls, and equipment.
- Stocked refrigerators with bottled beer and wines.
- Cleaned tables, removed dirty dishes, and replaced table linens.
- Balanced payments and receipts in cash registers.
- Inform customers about the day’s specials
Offer menu recommendations. - Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software,order slips or by memorization.
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
Serve food and drink orders. - Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Collect bill payments,Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
- Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- Kitchen Hand Responsibilities :
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots) - Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils. - Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary.
- Remove garbage regularly,Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
