- Assisting Site and Production Supervisors: Work closely with the supervisors to ensure a motivated workforce by providing support, guidance, and encouragement. Ensure that safety protocols are adhered to and productivity goals are met.
- Providing Daily Shift Reports: Compile a comprehensive report detailing production progress, deliveries made, any events or delays encountered, as well as any issues or concerns that arose during the shift. This helps keep everyone informed and allows for timely resolution of any problems.
- Overseeing Production Processes: Monitor production activities to ensure that all safety protocols and production procedures are followed diligently. Provide guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and minimize risks.
- Supporting Quality and Systems Engineers: Collaborate with the quality and systems engineers to meet reporting requirements, identify and address non-conformances, and support the implementation of quality control measures.
- Raising Non-Conformances: Identify and report any deviations from standards or specifications, and escalate them to the appropriate personnel such as the Quality Engineer or Systems Engineer for resolution.
- Assisting in Training and Monitoring: Support production supervisors in delivering training sessions to staff on production and quality processes. Monitor operations to ensure that trained procedures are followed consistently.
- Implementing Process Improvement Strategies: Work with management to identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Ensuring Compliance: Collaborate with the QA Engineer to ensure that all works and processes comply with the Project Contract and company policies.
- Maintaining Site Standards: Take responsibility for the presentation and safety of the site, ensuring that it meets high standards at all times.
- Reporting Incidents: Promptly report any incidents that occur during the shift, whether they involve victims or not, to the Production Manager. This allows for immediate action to be taken to address the situation and prevent future occurrences.
