Working as a Learning consultant at Great Learning was indeed Great! The learning acquired here over my tenure was indeed, I conducted a mass outreach to potential leads through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media. Conveyed across the benefits of online degrees for professional growth and the enhancement of resumes ot interested learners. My main role was to provide detailed information about the online degree programs, including curriculum, industry scenario, accreditation, university tie-up and potential career outcomes. Over time, I built , nurtured and maintained strong relationships with potential learners, by addressing their concerns and smoothly guiding them through the complete enrolment process. I kept updating and enhancing my knowledge about current industry trends, competitive offerings, high investment fields and changes ni the online education landscape. As part of the job, I collaborated with marketing and admissions teams ot develop effective outreach strategies and campaigns. I learned how ot utilise and enhance persuasive communication skills to persuade potential leads and diligently handling learner objections. Apart from this, I was also the content lead on my team, creating and building all forms of delivery content which is to be conveyed to the learners. On a daily level, I maintained accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and outcomes on GL. Shine (the in-house CRM system). Providing excellent customer service ensuring a positive experience for potential learners si one of the major learnings. From the second month onwards, I decided to go of the sales script given to me, and fully focused building genuine conversations with the learners by understanding their work and education profile, their requirements, their pain-points and effectively mapping ti towards the offered program by building value around. I understood that a genuine rapport building and proactive follow-ups is what drives over 80% of the sales. All things considered, this job was indeed a great opportunity for me to largely build up upon my communication skills, customer service skills, interpersonal skills, rapport building and also persuasion skills.

Throughout my experience, I gained a deep understanding of the venture capital industry and the process of identifying, evaluating, and investing in promising startups. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the industry and always willing to share their expertise and insights with me. One of the first things I learned was the importance fo networking and sourcing deals. As na intern, I was often tasked with conducting research on different industries and identifying potential investment opportunities. This required em to attend industry events, connect with entrepreneurs, and stay up-to-date on emerging trends.
Al things considered, my experience as an intern in a venture capital firm was incredibly rewarding. I gained a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, honed my analytical skills, and developed a network of contacts ni the industry. It was a valuable experience that I will carry with me throughout my career.
