In 2012, I received the ‘National Emergency Medal (Queen’s Medal)' in recognition for services provided during Queensland’s 2010-2011 community disaster events in Brisbane, Cairns, Biloela, Gladstone and Rockhampton as Lifeline Community Recovery Crisis Worker.
