My duties have included

• Verify Student identifications, instruct students entrance and exam room protocol (water bottle stations, bathroom break, allowed items on desk, IT support)
• Supervise exams discreetly and note any possible misconduct and report time and incident report to Chief Invigilator

• Providing community-based support to people living with a mental illness and exiting homelessness
• Providing a range of rehabilitation and support to consumers, tailored to meet their individual needs
• Engaging clients and developing trusting and professional relationships
• Working closely with clinical case managers to deliver a comprehensive service to clients
• Meeting the needs of clients, family, carers and other members of the community to provide culturally appropriate service
• Sourcing educational courses and volunteer roles for clients that meet their needs and interests
• Providing health, legal and Centrelink advocacy and housing support

• Responsible for the development, facilitation and delivery of short-term and long-term arts programs for mainstream adult groups, marginalised community groups, outreach organisations and children’s programs
• Developing students’ skills and understanding of arts practice
• Maintaining a safe working environment, instructing in OH&S work practice off and on site from Pine Street Creative Arts Centre, and delivering programs in ceramics, painting and drawing to adults, youth and children
• Ordering ceramic materials, updating Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), liaising with Pine Street management, colleagues, and external partners to work within deadlines and expected outcomes

• Facilitating drawing and painting classes with artists living with a mental illness
• Curating annual exhibitions, and organising art excursions
• Budgeting materials, outings, and incidentals
• Ordering all term materials and ensuring art space overcame difficulties with disability client needs
• Reconciling term budget and costs

• Developing and delivering course modules for students enrolled in Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts
• Subjects taught include OH&S in an Art Studio Environment, Professional Practice, Exhibition Practice, Colour Theory and Drawing
• Tuition, teaching, grading and assessing student’s achievements and participation according to the Board of Studies curriculum and learning outcomes
• Working alongside teachers aids to support students with learning needs
• Guiding students in development of resumes and portfolios to further their art practice and/or further education
• Curating end of year Graduating TAFE Fine Arts student exhibition

• Selecting artists to exhibit sculptures for a one-day annual exhibition event in Maundrell Park, Stanmore, which developed into a biannual event
• Handling finances to meet with budget constraints, including artist payment, catalogue designers and printers
• Creating catalogue content and invitations
• Meeting deadlines and working within a scheduled timeline
• Organising press and media release, invitations and speakers
• Liaising with park caretakers, Marrickville Mayor, Council staff, artists and public attendees

• Designed, delivered and managed a community art project for Youth at Risk
• Mentored youth to engage in a community ‘Art Traffic Signal Box’ project
• Introduced to Sydney as program to engage participant outcomes, to design and paint ‘traffic signal boxes’ along King Street Newtown, which has extended to many more councils since its introduction
• Organised and present all participants with a visual portfolio and participation certificate
• Acquitted project with documents including feedback from RMS, local businesses, participants, Council, and document outcomes and organised photographic media release
