Summary

Driven by a passion for fostering educational and social development, I leveraged my expertise in different social work approaches including strengths-based approaches, attachment theory and systems theory and exceptional communication skills during my practical experience in my academic degree. This practical exposure which I received in the two placements that I did at The Smith Family and Morella Community Centre helped me build keys aspects of social work field including resilience building, demonstrating culturally sensitive practices and a commitment to social work ethics. Apart from this, I also have experience working overseas in India, helping children from low socio-economic backgrounds.
