  • My part-time contract was as a Customer Service Officer (CSO) supporting service delivery to all customers of MatchWorks and staff of DES or Jobactive
  • This included directing enquiries to relevant personnel, assisting client requests, appointment scheduling and admin work and site provision
  • Assisting clients with job search activities and updating the daily Job Vacancy Board
  • The job entailed working from the Government online secure data base system across two MatchWork sites

  • I commenced my part time employment with Can:Do Hearing as a Customer Service Officer(CSO) supporting service delivery for the Audiologist and the client
  • This included appointment scheduling, orders and repairs, document processing, invoicing, banking and hearing aid repairs
  • Due to my efficiency and past skill base, my role changed to include team supervision on process and problem solving for the CSO staff, training, maintaining resources on CRM, project work and assist with end of month reporting
  • My achievements were creating an interactive Customer Service training manual in Notes
  • Implementing daily procedures and tools that are still operational today
  • I had a client fan club which is very humbling, but I view it as validation to my excellent customer service

  • The role was to run the clinic office, attend incoming phone calls, schedule appointments and manage the client data base and physical files
  • Admin work required was invoicing, word processing, petty cash and banking along with debt collection
  • Additionally, I was solely required to process payroll and accounts payable, along with end of month reconciliations
  • My achievement was transitioning all records to a new computer program
  • The owner sold the business and existing staff were not required by the incoming owner

  • My role was a part time job share; to organize rosters for the volunteers in the retail sector of the Volunteer Service
  • This was inclusive of recruiting, co ordinating and supporting the volunteers
  • I also provided administrative service to Senior Management and volunteers including minute taking; word processing; supplies; petty cash and till reconciliations
  • This was a small office environment where flexibility in duties and good teamwork was essential
  • My favourite part was working with the volunteers who came to us with different ages, different reasons, different health issues
