Testimonials

Vicky was a natural choice as a recruitment partner to help The Royals identify top talent, given her wealth of experience working in agencies and her genuine passion for people. The most important thing for us when working with recruitment partners is that they truly understand what “makes a Royal” and the calibre of talent we need to deliver for our clients. Vicky nailed it from her very first brief. Launching a start-up business is tough, however, doing it as a working mum is even more inspiring.  I think it’s what gives Vicky an edge. Vicky is particularly passionate about being an agent for creating positive industry change. Kristy Camarillo, People and Culture, The Royals

Having worked with Bang the Drums now for 2 years, Vicky is the consummate professional, seeking to deeply understand our agency values and culture before recommending any potential hires. In Vicky I find that we have a trusted confidant who keeps the agency POV top of mind, allowing for a really clear and concise hiring process where all parties feel heard and appreciated. As a result, the new hires fit seamlessly into our teams and over the last two years have gone on to rise into senior leadership & team mentor roles. Liz Stephenson, GAD, Paper Moose (now Howatson +Co)

Easily one of the best suits I know. Would be an amazing addition to any business lucky enough to have her. Paul Nagy, Chief Creative Officer, VML APAC

Vicky is a phenomenal recruiter. She is very attuned to the marketplace and listens carefully to all the pressure points that any working parent faces, and is able to truly discern what is important to her candidates and clients. This was particularly challenging for me as a single mum but Vicky ensured my first contract placement was a great cultural fit for parents, as well as being a very exciting opportunity at a top-tier agency with a stellar client roster. She checked in several times in my first few months to ensure I was settling in well and to provide positive feedback from my employer as well, which was very reassuring.

Importantly, Vicky is a truly awesome human being and a caring, empathetic soul. She works with ease and transparency, making the jobsearch process so much more pleasurable and seamless. She draws on her significant business savvy and past career in account management to come up with solutions and advice that are always genuine, thoughtful and on-point.

Every chat with Vicky feels like a warm fireside chat with a trusted friend and advisor - we laugh along the way and she tells hard truths when needed, with intelligence and heart, and always in the service of the greater goal - happy candidates and clients alike. Olivia Widjaya, GAD candidate
