I’m a postgraduate Economics student at UNSW with a distinction average and a law degree from SOAS, University of London. I have a strong commitment to social impact, community support, and policy development. Through my studies, I’ve built a well-rounded foundation in economics and law, and my international experience has shaped the way I think about inequality, development, and social policy. I’m eager to begin my career in a space where I can create meaningful impact, using skills such as data analysis, legal research, and economic policy work. My goal is to contribute to projects that deliver visible benefits for people and to collaborate with organisations that share these values.
Sydney, Australia 2025
Completed a data analysis course in which I acquired proficiency in R in the context of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, regression, classification, resampling methods, and data-driven decision-making.
Sydney, Australia 2024
Completed a comprehensive course on data analysis using R, covering data manipulation, exploratory data analysis, and visualization techniques.
Sydney, Australia 2024

For my Public Economics and Regulation course, I developed a policy proposal addressing the fragmentation and underfunding of the UK’s long-term care system. The project analysed key issues in access, equity, and sustainability, drawing on international examples such as Japan and Singapore. My policy recommendation focused on introducing a unified, nationally funded social-insurance framework to replace the current system. The proposal aimed to improve equity, reduce administrative inefficiencies, stabilise funding, and expand eligibility. The project included economic modelling, cost–benefit reasoning, and an assessment of regulatory feasibility.
UNSW, 2025
Conducted an econometric analysis of Amazon’s stock performance using Python. Applied CAPM and Fama–French multi-factor models to estimate risk exposures, and implemented ARMA time-series forecasting to assess volatility clustering and return predictability. Performed model evaluation using BIC, VIF, and residual diagnostics, strengthening my ability to apply econometric theory to real financial data and interpret results through statistical programming.

For a Development Economics research paper, I analysed the structural causes of rural poverty in Cambodia; focusing on agricultural dependence, low productivity, and coordination failures. Using both descriptive data and simple regressions, I found that weak institutions, corruption, land insecurity, and a dual economy contribute to a low-level equilibrium trap. The agricultural sector remains low-productivity, coordination failures discourage investment, and governance indicators (especially control of corruption and rule of law) strongly predict HDI outcomes. My conclusion was that without significant institutional reform, better land governance, and targeted support for rural productivity and female education, Cambodia’s development progress will continue to lag behind its economic growth.
UNSW, 2025
Applied OLS and hypothesis testing in Stata to examine the relationship between fertility rates and policy variables such as tax exemptions, access to contraception, and education levels. Evaluated model specification issues, conducted tests for heteroskedasticity and multicollinearity, and interpreted coefficients using economic reasoning.
UNSW, 2024
Performed a full OLS regression and model validation in Excel and Python to identify determinants of red and white wine quality. Used VIF to test for multicollinearity, compared pooled and differentiated models with dummy variables, and interpreted R² and adjusted R² to evaluate model fit. The analysis demonstrated how econometric methods inform real-world production and quality decisions in agribusiness.
