Summary

I am a proactive, strategist social manager with participatory leadership skills and able to face challenges creatively. My experience is focused on the design, implementation and evaluation of social and advocacy projects with emphasis on refugee work, protection, community management, gender-based violence, information gathering and popular education. I dedicate a lot of passion in the professional and volunteer projects I am part of. I believe that I have learned a lot from all of them and that they are consistent with the role I wish to play as a citizen.

  • Leading the planning and execution of the Local Office Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Mental Health (MH) Strategy. This strategy aims to enhance awareness and knowledge of GBV among different target audiences include State agencies, NGOs, community-based organizations, refugees; through integration, prevention, response, and mitigation activities.
  • Maintaining and strengthening UNHCR's leadership within an inter-agency coordination working group focussed on GBV and MH.
  • Coordinating the UNHCR-led Border Transit Point through constant monitoring of partner activities, collection of key information, delivery of assistance and referral of protection cases to national specialized services
  • Providing technical guidance on GBV and mental health case management with a survivor-centered approach to UNHCR staff, humanitarian organizations, government agencies, and community-based organizations.
  • Supporting the consolidation, organization, and coordination of 10 community-based organizations to enhance their abilities in identifying and mitigating protection risks, promoting integration, and fostering peaceful coexistence.
