• Delivered evidence-based occupational therapy services to NDIS participants across physical, psychosocial, and developmental disabilities.
• Completed functional capacity assessments and comprehensive reports aligned with NDIS requirements to support funding applications and plan reviews.
• Developed and implemented individualised intervention plans to support clients in achieving goals related to self-care, daily living, and community participation.

Inpatient Sub-Acute Care and Geriatrics

Balmain Hospital | Sydney Local Health District | Balmain, NSW | April 2024 (8 weeks)

• Conducted falls prevention assessments, systematically evaluating patients' mobility, balance, and environmental factors to identify potential risks and implement appropriate preventive measures.
• Documented observations of patients including, symptoms and changes in condition, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for effective care coordination.
• Independently administered and applied assessment tools with clients, including the RUDAS (with interpreter support) and the PASS, demonstrating clinical reasoning and cultural sensitivity.

Community Mental Health

Lake Macquarie Mental Health Service | Hunter New England Local Health District | Charlestown, NSW | October 2023 (7 weeks)

• Co-facilitated a group program alongside a peer worker, delivering stress management techniques to support client wellbeing.
• I engaged in self-reflection and discussed with my supervisor the challenges of emotionally carrying mental health-related concerns outside of work. Through this process, I developed strategies to maintain professional boundaries and established the ability to leave work at work.
• Independently delivered a client update during a multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting, outlining who the client is, their current situation, what support they are receiving, where and when services are being provided, and the rationale behind the intervention. Actively sought collaborative input from the team to develop a comprehensive support plan.

Community‑based early childhood intervention

Early Connections | Port Macquarie, NSW | August 2022 (2 weeks)

• Effectively identified and communicated a personal conflict of interest with a client to the supervisor, demonstrating self-awareness and professional integrity.
• Observed, identified, and discussed key takeaways from a clinical handover, demonstrating understanding of effective communication and continuity of care.

Co-facilitate a Neurodiversity Affirming Workshop | 2025

• Assisted and actively engaged in Q&A discussions alongside an Occupational Therapist, supporting adults who either have a neurodevelopmental disorder themselves or have a loved one or client with a diagnosis.
• Shared open, honest discussion and promote empathy within the group. This encouraged a safe and supportive environment where others felt comfortable reflecting on their own experiences and perspectives.
