General Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and care to individuals in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Develop and implement support plans tailored to client needs.
Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards in all interactions.
Document case notes, incidents, and progress reports accurately and timely.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, social workers, and law enforcement.
Adhere to organizational policies, legal requirements, and confidentiality guidelines.
Rehabilitation/Detox/Recovery Worker:
Support clients undergoing detox and rehabilitation for substance use.
Assist with relapse prevention strategies and coping mechanisms.
Facilitate group sessions and one-on-one support.
Monitor client progress and report concerns to clinical staff.
Encourage healthy routines and participation in recovery programs.
Secure Care Worker:
Provide care and supervision in secure care settings for at-risk individuals.
Implement behaviour management strategies in a trauma-informed approach.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Engage with clients to support personal development and emotional well-being.
Respond to crises and de-escalate situations effectively.
Child Protection Transport & Access Supervision:
Transport children and young people safely to appointments, placements, and visits.
Supervise family visits in a safe and structured manner.
Provide observational reports on interactions and child well-being.
Ensure child safety and emotional support during transitions.
Liaise with case managers and report any concerns.
Housing & Homelessness Crisis Worker:
Assist clients in accessing temporary accommodation and support services
Educate clients on tenancy rights and responsibilities.
Support clients in overcoming barriers to stable housing.
Residential Youth Worker:
Provide care, guidance, and supervision for young people in residential settings.
Develop positive relationships to support emotional and social development.
Assist with life skills development, including education and employment support.
Manage crises and behavioural incidents using trauma-informed practices.
