Mill:

• Ball mill production circuit, monitoring of FOB levels, conveyors, E feeder, lime addition configuration and Mill equipment, such as retainer, trommel, hopper cyclones, feed/discharge pumps and trash screens.
• Accountable for monitoring Kilowatt's, water addition, feed product for effective Ball on rock grinding,density control rounds, grind sizing, and pressures to maximise recovery.
• Regular checking of cyclone maintenance and performance, recirculation load, and gravity circuit increasing flow as needed for effective recovery.
• Control room operations on citect, scats and trash screens management, media addition as required
• Full Mill shutdown and start up and Isolations
• Collaborating with the METS team to ensure all parameters are met.
• Training new Operators
• Inspection of area and hazard identification

Crusher:

• Confirming throughput blend with positive communications with supervisor and ROM loader
• Rom Stock management, reporting to supervisor
• Controlled primary crusher Jaw AMPS, swing Jaw, hydroset lube system, ground stocks, conveyors, chutes, metal detect systems, sizing screens, dust extraction equipment.
• Monitoring of secondary and tertiary crusher lube system and reporting of any equipment malfunction, conducting regular gap checks to ensure correct sizing of ore.
• Circuit inspections completed prior/during shift, and reporting abnormality's to supervisor.
• Complied with safety rules and standards to maximize efficiencies while reducing accidents.
• Citect trend real time monitoring.
• Full chucher start up and shutdown and Isolations

Cil:

• Monitoring of the CIL circuit by conducting regular titrations, PH tests, carbon counts, cyanide addition and lime dosing to meet targets.
• Tracking trends on Citect and reporting any abnormalities.
• Ensuring Carbon transfer pumps, intertanks screens, agitators, launders and flow are working with efficiency.
• Monitoring of thickener and tails pump for optimisation of such.
• Thickener inspections, Floc, clarity and carbon safety screen management.
• Tails lines and pump change over, flushing lines system and bypassing thickener.

Paste plant:

• Liasing with Undergound to ensure Stopes, and paste notes match.
• Positive comunication with loader to ensure the feed is ideal for production, making changes as needed.
• Monitoring Pressures through borehole making sure it reaches target, ensuring solids and cement content are correct so that targets are maintained.
• Procedure reviews and business improvements
• Thorough plant inspections and reporting

TSF:

• Tails Dam management ensuring positive flow, monitoring of wild life, channelling, freeboard and spigots. Reporting any damages to management and on logsheet.
• Monitoring of Pumps: Decant, tower hill, VR6
• Ensuring Toe drains are on when required, and roads and ramps are safe to use.
• Moving spigots on dam to ensure correct discharge of slurry and making sure bench levels are maintained

Water Management:

• Ensuring effective water levels are available to all sections of the plant by utilising appropriate Bores and water sources like; RO,Decant, Tower hill,HTDS,LTDS Process water pumps inspections priming when necessary.

Mill:

• Monitoring stockpile and equipment such as feeders, conveyor SAG mill, regrind circuit, pebble crusher, stacker, x2 Ball mills, cyclones,feed/discharge pumps
• I was responsible for monitoring KW, water addition, fines and rock on rock grinding, EAR, density's, pressures and flow achieving peak mill performance allowing higher throughput and meeting monthly targets
• Constantly checking feeders to ensure correct product size/blend entering sag mill, chutes, metal detects,recirculation load, Acacia and gravity circuit for any abnormality's
• Control room operations on Scada,scats and trash screen management
• Performing required media addition to both sag and ball mill as per SCADA
• Reported any hazards or issues
• Full Mill shutdown following instructions, procedures and regulations, Isolations
• Attending additional equipment training such as full cyclone maintenance

Crusher:

• Controlled throughput and blend into the crushing circuit by having positive communication with ROM loader
• Controlled primary crusher Jaw AMPS, swing Jaw, hydroset lube system, stockpiles ,crushing and conveyors speed on SCADA,
• Monitored secondary crusher and conducted regular gap checks for adequate sizing, regular sizing screen inspection, metal detects and chute visuals
• Unblocked under jaw by using adequate tools and PPE like grinder, correct permit and isolations prior.
• Pre-starts and machine inspections completed prior to shift, reduced downtime for maintenance by performing regular equipment inspections and preventative measures.
• Proved successful working within tight deadlines and fast-paced atmosphere, consistently met or exceeded production targets.
• Contributed to the development of standard operating procedures that improved consistency across shifts.
• Provided hands-on assistance during emergency situations such as equipment malfunctions and full circuit shutdown.

Cil:

• Monitored the CIL circuit by conducting regular titrations, PH tests, carbon counts, cyanide addition and lime dosing to meet targets.
• Carbon transfer pumps inspection, agitator, pump and flow efficiency.
• Loaded carbon pull twice per shift, carbon forwarding as needed, filling elution column and starting first steps of elution sequence such as adding reagents.
• Closely monitored tank levels, cleared draft tubes as necessary and swapped intertank screens once per week.

• Accountable for 20 CIL tanks involving carbon counts, titrations, PH and oxygen levels.
• Monitoring and Inspection of carbon transfer pumps, belts, agitators, intertank screens and made sure we had no flow issues.
• Controlling tank levels and density's, entering information DCS
• Oversaw the handling of reagents such as cyanide and lime, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Identified issues, reported and provided solutions in a fast but safely manner.
• Thickener management including water testing for clarity, overflowing into launder correctly and reagent addition such as floc.
• Conducting regular inspections of 4 tailing storage facilitys ensuring we were discharging correctly, inspecting spigots, walls, and freeboard and wildlife. Traffic management. Reporting to TSF Operators with any issues identified.
