• Conducted pre & post water mapping, geological mapping and produce a detailed mapping report interpreting the physical characteristics of metasedimentary rock “Argillite”.
• Executed 25m endoscopes and 6m probes to assess rock mass conditions, fractures, and groundwater seepage for tunnel stability analysis.

Pavement Team

• Ensured pavement designs met safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Selected appropriate materials (asphalt, concrete, aggregates) based on site conditions and performance criteria.
• Raised RFIs addressing environmental and weather-related concerns for bitumen selection.

• Collaborated with AECOM to provide technical insights on instrumentation trigger levels, ensuring alignment with project safety thresholds and design tolerances.
• Technical drawing and design: Applied AutoCAD expertise to create, analyze, and revise engineering drawings for submission and construction purposes.
• Geological assessment: Interpreted complex geological formations (Karstic limestone/Kenny hill/Granite) with boreholes via Civil3D across Klang Valley to assess ground stability, structural safety, and efficient excavation.
• Instrumentation deployment: Installed and managed over 23 types of geotechnical instruments to monitor ground behaviour and structural responses on adjacent infrastructure in the tunnel alignment.
• Project coordination: Led instrumentation planning with 3 subcontractors, stakeholder coordination, and supervision across 11 underground tunnel sites (7 underground stations and 4 shafts) within Klang Valley.
• · Critical structure surveillance : Oversaw 24/7 monitoring during TBM crossings beneath sensitive infrastructure (i.e mix of intercity, commuter, metro) mitigate risks such as structural cracks, sinkholes, and track deformation.
• Data analysis & reporting: Leveraged Microsoft Office tools for documentation, complex engineering calculations, and client-facing data presentations.
• Instrumentation lifecycle management: Directed end-to-end instrumentation processes including data acquisition, verification, processing, web-based reporting (Maxwell), method statements, calibration, and installation.
• Landmark project involvement: Contributed to Malaysia’s first front jacking operation for an underground pedestrian walkway beneath Jalan Tun Razak, adjacent to Duke 2 and the Royal Malaysian Air Force Heritage Buildings.

• Student industrial project was completed on the analysis of concrete in pre-cast segments used in the tunnel lining.
