Summary

Experienced Educator Committed to Student Success

For more than two decades, I’ve dedicated myself to shaping young minds in both public and private educational settings. As a Mathematics Tutor and High School Teacher, my journey spans 21 years of practical experience. With 16 years of classroom expertise, I’ve honed my skills in both public and private schools across Australia. My passion for education drives me to create engaging learning environments. In 2007, I earned a Bachelor of Education & Science from UNSW, majoring in Mathematics and Education. This solid foundation informs my teaching approach and curriculum design. During my studies, I gained valuable insights into special education while teaching at Les Powell School. This experience shaped my empathetic and adaptable teaching style. As a ‘self-starter,’ I thrive on energy and drive. My meticulous planning and adaptability allow me to navigate changing conditions effectively. Now, I’m eager to bring my expertise to a high school or college setting. I believe my background, knowledge, and commitment make me an ideal candidate for this responsible assignment. Beyond mathematics, I’ve also worked as a Special Education Teacher, tailoring lessons to individual student needs. My constant communication, patience, and positive reinforcement foster academic achievement. Teaching special needs children has taught me resilience. I remain positive even in challenging situations, collaborating with classroom teachers to create inclusive environments. Organized and dependable, I manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I’m willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. In summary, my passion for education, combined with my diverse skills, positions me for success in any educational context. I’m ready for the next chapter in my career!

Meditation, Buddhist Scriptures,

I have been practising meditation since 2012 and achieved some positive results such as understanding human behaviours, being more considerate toward negativity and forgiving easily. I have searched and read a variety of Buddhist scriptures from Vietnam, China, Thai, Lao, and Tibet. I also have listened to many different audio and video clips on YouTube. I attended meditation retreats at Bundanoon Santi Forest, Wat Buddha Dharma Temple, and a layperson Buddhist private house for several days to contemplate and find the way to Enlightenment.

Camping, renovation and tennis.

I yearn to explore the picturesque corners of Australia, discovering its hidden gems. My heart longs for more outdoor moments with my family, while the thrill of playing tennis with friends on weekends invigorates me. Equally, I find solace in transforming old houses into cozy havens, a labor of love during my free time.
