Project

  • Heart Beat Monitor:

     - Working with simple analogue sensor and leveraging Psoc platform to produce accurate results, by overcoming the challenges of analogue sensors.

  • Finite State Machine:

     - Designing an efficient FSM to meet project criteria, and programming the FSM on FPGA using Verilog.

  • Warman Competition:

     - Building a robot that will complete a challenge of time and task, using simple electronics(Arduino) and applying engineering knowledge of mechanical, programming and electronics.

  • Anaerobic digestion system:

     - Designing and Prototyping system to meet market specifications, By applying knowledge in Smart Manufacturing and Mechatronics systems.

  • Autonomous navigation (PenguinPi robot):

     - Building an autonomous system for the robot to navigate an arena, By applying EKF SLAM algorithm to generate the arena map and identify the locations of obstacles using computer vision assisted with YOLOv8 Model, and using A* path-finding to navigate through the arena to specific targets and avoid obstacles.

  • Improve Robustness of Autonomous Vehicle Perception System:

    - Analyzed the robustness of 3D perception systems, including multi-sensor data fusion models, against adversarial attacks to enhance the safety and reliability of autonomous vehicles. Conducted a comparative study to explore the impact of adversarial attacks on LiDAR-only models versus LiDAR-camera fusion models, contributing to the development of more resilient AV systems.
