• I started off with experience co as a skipper and upgraded my engineering and started working as a full time engineer, experience co has a large fleet of vessels, a pontoon, and a large fleet of auxiliary vessels I have worked across, I have been involved in preventive maintenance, scheduled services, trouble shooting, a constant veriety engineering jobs, helping out on refits, ordering and maintaining stock, and so forth

• Pro Dive Cairns gave me crucial experience been master and engineer on live aboard vessels, with a fleet of 3 vessels, my duties included running and coordinating trips for up to 3 days with up to 7 crew and 34 clients on board, day to day decisions on crucial dive locations and overnight locations out at sea, running checks, engine problem solving and scheduled maintenance, servicing on all machine devices, as well as involved in a number of dry refits of the fleet v, as well as a many engineering troubleshooting situations
• Keeping up with and making sure all strict government rules and regulations were followed.

• CDC offered me crucial experience for a master 4 vessel, as well as 2 other vessels in their fleet, I gained valuable engineering and troubleshooting experience you can only get while working on an older vessel, I was involved in managing and coordinating a refit, coordinating trips with up to 11 crew and 37 passengers, scheduled and preventative maintainance.

• Driving both Tusa 5 and Tusa 6 was another steppingstone on my boating career, I was privileged to be offered a part time position a master of both these vessels, been one of the most recently built vessels in the marina, my duties were the same as Reef Experience

• Reef Experience was my first vessel as master,/engineer, on a day trip vessel with up to 15 crew and 100 passengers, it was a massive step in my boating career and provided me with a platform to launch my career as a proven master, my duties included the running and coordination of daily trips out to the reef, with a crew of up to 10 and passengers up to 100, it was an exhilarating first drive with a busy and demanding vessel with so many people aboard, all engineering duties during the trips as well as scheduled maintenance and day to day running and troubleshooting problems of a very busy and high demand vessels
• Keeping up with and making sure all strict government rules and regulations were followed.

• Work as a casual dogman a day or 2 a week due to covid slowing my main job hours down.

• A six month stint working on a micro cruise liner as the first mate, my duties included watch keeping, navigating and anchoring the vessel both day and night in some of the most treacherous waters in Australia, managing a team of 3 people to maintain the outside vessel up to high standards, weekly chart updates and constant communication with the master running tight and demanding schedules in remote Australian waters for up to 6 weeks at a time
• Keeping up with and making sure all strict government rules and regulations were followed.

• My role with Mike Ball allowed me to gain crucial experience working on the deck/engineering side of the vessel
• As the First mate my responsibilities included watch keeping (both night and day), maneuvering, anchoring and general day to day operations
• I was responsible for all general maintenance of the structure of the vessel, all mooring ropes and lines, in charge of repairing and underwater maintenance, as well as ordering and building new moorings
• I was also responsible for the keeping the vessel clean to very high standards
• My engineering responsibilities included the day to day running, servicing and maintenance of all machinery on board the vessel for a week at a time, including main engines, auxiliary devices, water desalinators, air conditioning, refrigeration, diving compressors, as well as all repair and maintenance of almost everything that needed repairs on aboard a 20-year-old vessel

• As dive supervisor my role was to ensure the smooth running of tightly scheduled 3 day live board trips, all legal documents and paperwork connected to the trips were in order, general maintenance days, servicing equipment and keeping the customers satisfied, as a dive instructor running courses for up to 20 people in one of the busiest dive schools in the world.
