During my internship at the Chengdu Qingyang District People's Court, I had the honor of serving as a Judicial Assistant to Judge He Ling. This experience provided me with a unique insight into the judicial process and allowed me to contribute to the efficient handling of legal proceedings. One of the key tasks I undertook was assisting in a large volume of collective small-claims litigations. This involved meticulous preparation of case files, organizing evidence, and aiding in the drafting of judicial documents.

Working alongside Judge He Ling, I became intimately familiar with the simplified procedure, a streamlined process designed to expedite small-claims cases. This included understanding the criteria for cases to qualify for this procedure, the steps involved from filing to resolution, and the execution of judgments. The experience deepened my comprehension of legal principles and sharpened my skills in case management and legal research.

My involvement in these collective small-claims litigations under Judge He Ling's guidance was instrumental in honing my legal acumen. It taught me the importance of precision, efficiency, and empathy in the judicial process. This internship was not only a valuable learning opportunity but also a chance to observe the impact of justice on individuals' lives, reinforcing my commitment to pursuing a career in law.

During my internship at the law firm, I had the privilege of serving as an Assistant to a Partner, which offered me a deep dive into the dynamic realm of legal practice. This experience extended beyond mere observation; it involved direct engagement with the complexities of legal processes and client management. I was tasked with preparing case briefs, researching landmark cases, and drafting legal documents that played a crucial role in shaping our arguments. This practical exposure honed my analytical skills and enriched my understanding of legal principles in real-life scenarios.

Working closely with the partner, I acquired valuable insights into the strategic dimensions of legal advocacy and the significance of precision in legal writing. I learned to navigate the delicate balance between attention to detail and the overarching strategic goals of a case. A highlight of my internship was accompanying the partner to a tender project at Chengdu Bank. This particular experience was not just about witnessing the impact of effective legal strategy and teamwork on securing a favorable outcome for our client; it was about actively assisting the partner in winning the bid.

This internship was instrumental in my professional development, offering me a comprehensive perspective on the duties and challenges faced by legal practitioners. Through this experience, my determination to pursue a career in law has been reinforced, equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to make meaningful contributions to the legal field.
