In 1998 my husband and I started our small family Boat Building Company.

My roles varied dramatically, from the Hiring and Supervision of Staff to Customer Service, Quotations, all of the required Accounting, Payroll and Taxes using MYOB AccountRight Software.

I not only carried out the above, I also attained the skills required to build Oceanic Catamarans, Olympic Racing Catamarans, Building of Fishing Boats, Building of the Police Divisional Van Pods and Ford AU Hardtop Spoilers to name a few, along with the skills to carry out Fibreglass Mouldings, Components, and various Fibreglass Repairs, for the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Army Vehicle Component's,

• Maintained full and current understanding of illnesses and treatments available.
• Maintained and kept in contact with Hospital, Drs and Rehabilitation Services
• Promoted a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to share their experiences, facilitating open communication and fostering personal growth.
• Implemented educational programs that increased awareness about Alcohol and Drug Addictions along with all STD's, HIV/AIDS prevention and testing services for the community.
• Implemented Needle Exchange Programme.
• Counselled up to 8 clients per day both in person and over the phone.
• Conducted comprehensive assessments to accurately determine client needs, leading to more effective treatment plans.
• Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance.
• Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.
• Maintained detailed case records, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and supporting continuity of care.

• Worked fluctuation shift work between afternoon and night shifts.
