• Played a key role in architecting and developing a cloud-native, omnichannel contact platform from the ground up, using an event-driven microservices architecture with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka

ShangTuo® - Intelligent O&M Platform for POS Systems

The platform was built on a hybrid cloud and on-premise distributed architecture, ensuring high scalability and low-latency processing for massive datasets from numerous retail stores. This included a Device Layer, an Edge Computing Layer, a Data Transport Layer (HTTPS, MQTT), a Cloud Service Layer, and a Distributed Database Layer

My Role & Contributions (as Development Lead):

• led the end-to-end system architecture design, selecting and implementing the distributed, hybrid cloud and edge infrastructure
• Hands-on development of core system functionalities, taking ownership of the most complex parts of the platform
• Managed the engineering team's code quality and standards by organizing and conducting rigorous code reviews
• Oversaw the quality assurance process by reviewing and approving test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage and system reliability

Data-Driven Project Management Platform for the Construction Industry

• Led the overall system architecture design, selecting a decoupled, microservices-based approach using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud to ensure scalability and maintainability
• Managed the project development timeline and workflow, organized and conducted rigorous code reviews, and mentored team members to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
• Hands-on development of several critical features, including the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) module, a dynamic tender template management system, and the core tender document generation engine (utilizing Apache POI)
• Oversaw the implementation of the database strategy, which included a read-write splitting configuration for the MySQL database to optimize performance for both transactional and reporting workloads

Enterprise-Grade Financial Management & Risk Control Platform

• As the development lead for the Wuhan, China team, I led and mentored a team of engineers while also coordinating effectively with three other geographically distributed teams (Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Xi'an, China) to ensure seamless project integration and on-time delivery
• Oversaw the complete design and hands-on development lifecycle for several critical financial modules, including Investment Management, Bank Guarantees, and External Guarantees
