  • This was the character reference that Melissa wrote for me when applying to the Greenacre store: Character Reference: Will Courtwood Dear Rose, Earlier today I managed to cross paths with Will in your Greenacre store. He mentioned that he was going for an interview with you. I was delighted to see him, and offered to write him a character reference, as I have worked with him in the past at Bunnings, and have seen his exceptional skills as a G4. Will is an exceptional young man that has the capabilities of going forward within the Bunning's team environment, and more importantly even further into management. He has clear and concise communication skills, and is always helpful to those who work alongside him, as well as customers that come into the store. Will has also shown true diligence and common sense when it came to unloading a dangerous load of extra long timber, which was precariously placed on top of another mixed pallet inside a delivery truck, at Rydalmere. Will refused to unload the long timber pallet as it could possibly have caused harm, not only to himself, but to others around him. This particular delivery driver did try to pressure Will to unload it, as it would be a cost to him to go back to the depot and have the truck reloaded properly (which was an ongoing problem with this particular freight company). However, Will was unwavering in his duty of care towards others, and his integrity to the Bunning's brand. He is always loyal to the company, and his workmates. I have no issues in vouching for this young man. Will, would be an asset to any Bunning's Warehouse. Although, from what I have experienced at the Greenacre store, you run an efficient and well-organised team, and Will is an ideal fit to your particular store, and would thrive under your encouraging management Yours sincerely, Melissa Eves.
