For the last 6 years, I have put myself forward in a diverse range of jobs from the handling of food to the delivery of mail. As each year progresses, my goal is to continue expanding my work experience so that I have more opportunities and provide a steady income. Although I have graduated at St Laurence's College, I am still a young worker looking to learn new life skills. - At least 2 times a year, my Grandfather and I visit a friend of his that owns a family owned Australian beef cattle feedlot.
- While there, I learn various skills and important life lessons that expand my capabilities and understanding in a workforce.
- Support effective pest control methods, reducing damage to crops and improving overall yield.
- I participate in a variety of jobs such as cleaning the main workshop, projects to build to assist the environment and using different mobility devices such as ride on lower, buggies or inside tractors and understanding their functionality.
- In relation to projects I build, I have used more than half a dozen machines and tools to get the job done right. Equipment from welders, metal cutters, sanders, drills, hammers etc.
- Developed strong relationships with other workers on the farm to build comfortable environments and show my potential in helping.
