Work Summary

  • Darling Park - I was responsible from start to finish for the implementation of a wireless network for both public and private users at Darling Park. This involved assessing current infrastructure for suitability, designing a network solution to fit the brief, selling the solution to the relevant stakeholders, developing a scope of works to be used by the fitters/electricians for installation, project management of the deployment, configuration of all hardware and QA post installation. The network itself covered the ground floor and common areas of the entire Darling Park precinct and was comprised of more than 45 WAPs and Switches.
  • Samsung Slideliner - I was part of a team that designed a wireless network suitable for streaming hi-def video in real time on the Samsung Slideliner during football matches. The Slideliner itself moved at up to 40km/hr up and down the side of the field with the play and required a fully redundant solution to allow the seated patrons to stream their own perspectives of the game whilst using social media.
  • Vivid Festival - I was part of a team that designed a wireless network covering the entirety of the Vivid lightwalk. This network tracked wireless enabled devices as they moved throughout the lightwalk and plotted them on a map in real time as one of the art displays. It was comprised of more than 60 individual pieces of hardware (routers, switches, WAPs and P2P/P2MP) deployed over 700000 square meters of Circular Quay and at the time was the largest geo-location network built in the southern hemisphere.
  • Emergency Services - I was lead technical designer for an SDWAN networking solution which provides redundant connectivity to fixed wing and rotary aircraft for companies providing aircraft for the NSW and VIC RFS during emergency operations such as bushfires.
  • I have experience working with wide range of WAN/LAN infrastructure including routing, switching, WiFi, P2P/P2MP, SDWAN and AWS Cloud Services
  • I have worked on multiple experiential campaigns, product launches, corporate events, and managed services deployments with companies such as Samsung, Sony, LG, Google, Microsoft, NAB and CBA. These have covered a variety of requirements from small offices to large scale 3000+ user wireless networks at festival and hotel sites.
