  • During my time at West Angelas I managed to gain experience operating machines such as the 777 and 785 water carts which I also had a chance to operate in the AHS areas in C and D pits.
  • Attending Pre-Start meetings to receive relative information about what tasks and hazards to expect during the on-coming shift such as dig locations, dump and potential geographical hazard locations as well. The pre-starts also help build the teams with discussions on what was done well and also what was improved during the shift.
  • Responsibilities for coming to work were to ensure proper fitness for work (fit and healthy), showing up to every swing, giving the best efforts as well as wanting to learn and contribute to making positive improvements during the swing.
