William Preddey

My home for cricket for the last four years, I have played up to 2nd grade enjoying lots of success with the ball at our home grounds and learning the craft of fast bowling from our stellar coaches and experienced players. For Easts over the past 3 years, I've taken 64 wickets at 21.52.

I was fortunate enough to enjoy success at the UniSports Cricket UniGames in the Gold Coast (2022) and Adelaide (2023), winning both tournaments and picking up 10 wickets games along the way. It was a fantastic experience that enabled me to play with some brilliant cricketers from rival Sydney Grade clubs.

Played 1st Grade for Bowral CC at the end of the 2022/23 season due to work commitments. I enjoyed a lot of success with the ball in what was a competitive country competition featuring many ex-Sydney First Graders, taking 26 wickets in 9 games at 18.24.

My junior rep team and where I learnt my craft as an outright fast bowler, touring all around NSW and playing highly competitive cricket.

I was selected to represent the Greater Illawarra region in the Southern Zone Competition after solid performances for the Southern Highlands Rep Team. Unfortunately, the 'black summer' fires prevented me from playing. However, the rigorous training and lessons we were all taught have stuck with me, such as the necessary mindset to make progress in the world of cricket.
