• I worked for Insight Systems for a bit under 2 years, my starting role as a Pre-sales Engineer
• This consisted of delivering detailed design, quotation and tender responses to project packages ranging from about 50k to 1.5M
• The role demanded a continuous focus on negotiating with clients, suppliers, vendors, and providing sales response entailing structural design, av system design, AV programming and IT integration design
• The following year I moved across to the operations department to work as a Project Manager, managing tasks included staff scheduling, resource management, grant chart projections, project risk management, OHS adherence, internal and external collaboration meetings
• The role demanded the ability to manage between 10- 20 AV installation projects at once all at different stages from start to completion
• Over the period I was there I have delivered over 1.5M worth of projects.
• Outlined work plans, determined resources, wrote timelines, and generated initial budgets as part of project scope determination.
• Accomplished client goals by providing quality technical projects.

• I worked for Programmed Electrical Technologies as a Senior Technician for about 2 years
• Main works included on site construction works with the installation of all aspects of audiovisual and electrical control systems
• Major Projects were: City West Police Station Spencer St Melbourne
• Ivanhoe Grammar School, Bloomberg Melbourne Office upgrade, The Melbourne Magistrates Courts, RMIT University Expansion Project.
• Maintained compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements.

In 2013 I was contacted by Engineering Impact Hong Kong

I represented their company as a Technical Consultant at the Chime Long Ocean Kingdom located on Hen quin Island in Zhuhai China

The project was in the final year of its 3 year construction phase I was employed to represent Engineering Impact technical audiovisual expert provide advice and report directly to the Chairman of the Park and associated General Managers of ChimeLong Ocean Kingdom

Throughout the project there were many local and international designers were contracted to complete the major project

My expertise was used to work and review cover all technical aspects of the AV entertainment and production installations tenders to the park.

• This included all audio, architectural and entertainment lighting and vision systems throughout the ocean park
• I spent much of my time collaborating with the local and international vendors
• External visits to factories and mainland suppliers were frequent for product design and approval to make sure everything to be installed would be of a 6 star flag rating and met all international standards of safety, quality and build.
• Performed regular system audits to ensure compliance with local regulatory standards, making necessary changes to maintain adherence where needed for the chairman and the project.
• Improved systems with addition of new features and infrastructure.
• Analyzed existing AV systems and recommended enhancements to improve on the chairman's preferences and outcomes.

• My responsibilities at the SES were to manage the emergency communications system
• Working for the State Emergency Service was a 70% travel based role
• Much of my time was spent on the road at regional and rural branches and broadcasting points throughout Victoria
• The Victoria State Emergency Service (SES) is Volunteer based emergency control agency, dealing with all major floods, storms, tsunamis and earthquakes throughout Victoria
• As a Communications Officer it was my position to manage the SES radio communication network across Victoria
• The radio network systems within Vehicles, Branches and broadcasting towers consisted of HF, VHF, UHF, and SMR networks along with emergency paging.

• As part of the Shanghai World Expo
• I was employed under a secondment for D.F.A.T and Think O.T.S to provide technical installation and operation aspects of theme, lighting, and audio-visual systems throughout the Pavilion
• The installation period consisted of 8 months and throughout the further 6 months the expo was open, our team provided technical support and operation of the Australian pavilion
• Collaborated with event planners to determine appropriate audiovisual solutions, resulting in successful events.
• Enhanced event experiences by setting up and operating audiovisual equipment for various venues.
• 8.1 million Guests visited the Australian Pavilion over the duration of the Expo.
• Set up projectors, laptops and microphones for live presentations.
• Provided technical support to event staff and presenters, reducing technical issues and delays.
• Optimized sound quality by conducting thorough sound checks prior to each event start time.
