Senior policy, strategy and media advisor for NSW MP Jeremy Buckingham. Proactive media and communications content, website management, speech-writing, strategic and outcome-oriented campaigns.

Working as an independent part of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide, I created and wrote an e-newsletter, social media contents, produced a podcast series telling veterans' story and collaborated with web developer to design and produce content.

I was social media specialist for the Leader of the NSW Government in the Upper House, Don Harwin. I created and grew his Facebook and Twitter accounts, creating media opportunities, responding to media enquiries. I was employed to create his digital presence from scratch, and have designed and launched his website, doubled his Facebook likes and he ended by enjoying a weekly retweet reach of between 50k and 150k.

I worked at the ABC in a number of roles including audio investigations for Background Briefing, creating audio documentaries and podcasts, compiling radio items for AM, PM and The World Today, as a news reporter and news reader for ABC Illawarra and creating television news reports and live crosses for ABC News and ABC News 24.

Edited a number of Fairfax newspapers in Western Sydney including: the Fairfield Champion, The Penrith Sun, The Parramatta Advertiser, The Blacktown Sun, The District Times. Founded the Sydney Western Suburbs bureau for the Sydney Morning Herald in 2001. Bureau chief and feature writer for Illawarra Mercury in Wollongong.
